Hardware options
Pole Star
DSAS: A self-contained unit comprising an
integrated Inmarsat IsatM2M satellite
transceiver, power management and back-up
batteries. The unit will remain fully
functional on reserve power for several days
in the event of a power failure. Linked to
two separate alert buttons, the transceiver
has no external antenna and does not
resemble typical satellite communications
